Who makes the best scented candles?
I like candles that smell like pumpkin pie and other scents that smell like the holidays. I like the scent to be strong enough and smell long enough.

I only burn the wax melts or tarts in a burner for 2hrs a day, i noticed i was tired all the time from the oils, Yankee candles seem to be the worst, any candle experts out there that can tell me what scented candles are the best for burning that won't drain the essence out of me.

My favorite candle scent from The White Barn Candle Co is being discontinued so I want to stock up. However, I want to know if the candles will lose its scent after a while?
Thanks.

I'm dipping candles that will be about 2 inches in diameter, and I need to know how much wax to buy. How many candles would a pound of paraffin make?
Anyone even have a guess?

I stay in a single dorm room in college, and each room has a smoke alarm and a sprinkler. I would like to light a scented candle (in a glass jar) to spice up the room abit, will it trigger the smoke alarm/sprinkler? It would suck if it does and the ensuing sprinklers soak my electronics.
The two ideal places I could place the candle happen to be below the smoke alarm and sprinkler. I can endeavor to move it elsewhere though if that is too dangerous.
Please advise, thank you!

I love candles but my husband thinks that the scented candles are bad for our son to be around.

I love candles. Yankee candles are my favorite, and I love the Christmas fragrances, like Bayberry, or Cinnamon. What is your favorite type and fragrance?

My mother always told me not to burn candles because they use up all the oxygen in the indoor air, but I really love scented candles. Is there anything to her belief?

As scented candles burn down, all that wax has to go somewhere. Laws of Matter require it to. Is it going into my lungs like tar from a cigarette? Am I getting a paraffin build-up in my lungs? If no, then why not?
Wax can't stay in the container it is in, it is burned off. Hence the smell and the smaller candle.
